Pagosa Valor Academy is K-12 University-Model® school located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We aim to encourage academic excellence in our students with a Biblical worldview by maintaining a strong level of family involvement. Our education model blends the best of traditional education with the best of home education. Our goal is to prepare students to be tomorrow’s Christ-centered servant-leaders.
We currently offer classes for kindergarten through 12th grade and are certified through UMSI and accredited by Cognia.

Attend our Informational Session

Application, References & Interview
Submit the online Registration Form and Application Fee to Pagosa Valor Academy.
Upon receipt of your application, if there is a known space, you will pay a $50 application fee. Once received, references will be checked and an interview will be scheduled.

Complete Student Assessment
Attend scheduled sessions for Entrance Assessments. Fall Entrance Assessments will take place the April 5, 2025 and May 3, 2025

Enrollment Fee & Curriculum
When PVA is able to offer you student a space, you will be billed and Enrollment fee that must be paid within 3 business days to confirm your space. You will also be provided with supply and curriculum lists for the coming school year. If you have any questions regarding the curriculum list, or if your child will be on a custom course track, please contact us for more information.
About Pagosa Valor Academy
since 2014
The idea of starting a Biblically based school using the National Association of University Model Schools (NAUMS) Model started in the summer of 2013. After much prayer and inspiration from God, a board was formed and requirements to open the school were all met. Pagosa Valor Academy opened its doors on Sept. 6, 2014 to K-6 with three teachers and one head administrator. The following year, 2015/16, we almost doubled our student base and expanded our grades to K-8. We currently offer classes for kindergarten through 12th grade and are certified through UMSI and accredited by Cognia.
